paolo cesti is a cuban-american filmmaker, graphic designer, and creative director based in miami, florida. he has directed award winning projects that have screened at festivals such as trinidad + tobago film festival, miami film festival, new york latino film festival, and more. his work revolves around telling grounded, latino-led stories about people who seek to express themselves despite the inner turmoils that keep them from doing so. in his mission to uplift other omnicultural works, he decided to co-found abo alongside amber pérez, a film collective dedicated to nurturing underrepresented voices to tell their stories how they want and where they want.
paolo holds a bfa in film production with an emphasis on directing and screenwriting, having graduated from the florida state university college of motion picture arts.
